There are always new problems that you need to deal with, and none of them are easy. Problems at work, relationships, family... No matter how much you struggle, there can sometimes seem to be no end to it. The world tugs you in every direction, and none of them are pleasant.

Something is amiss and you can feel it in your body. A tense chest, teary eyes, snapping at people, feeling overwhelmed by the smallest decisions... You feel like something needs to change, but how? You have no time to stop and think. The fear, hopelessness, and dissatisfaction won't let you take a moment think clearly about your life and what direction you want to take.

You might have tried to make things better on your own, vowing to "be better" or "try harder" to not let things get to you, only to end up running into the same difficulties, feeling helpless, and like your own worst enemy.

Therapy can help you make sense of your feelings, and give you practical guidance to overcome these difficulties. You might have been struggling to feel happy and in control for a long time, but if you are at the point of considering therapy, you've held on to some hope that things will get better. I'm here to tell you that you were right to hold on to that hope.

Therapy is the space where you can take the time to talk about your hopes, fears, wishes, and worries. You will be supported in removing the emotional barriers that keep you feeling "stuck". You will learn how you can take improving your well-being into your own hands, build on your strengths, and feel more in control of your life.


Even if you come to therapy with the aim of dealing with a specific issue in your life, you might find that the causes and effects of your emotional distress reside in other areas of your life. As humans, we live complex lives and it is not possible to compartmentalize our life into distinct sections. To heal, we must look at our life as a whole and how our strengths and personal difficulties affect us throughout our life.


Therapy can be helpful to deal with a number of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, managing stressful life transitions and burnout.

About Stephanie

Stephanie Green is a full member of the Australian Association of Psychologists and is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.


Her office is located in Wyong, convenient to Tuggerah train station.

In her work, Stephanie draws on a number of therapeutic approaches to assist clients in creating positive changes in their lives.
